A Solution to Crushing Hip Pain

My hip pain, thanks to a Corte Madera chiropractor, is now a thing of the past thanks to deep tissue massages. The pain started in earnest about ten years ago, after I hit the age of sixty, and increased in severity over the next few years to the point where I thought my future would include a wheelchair. The pain was so bad, far worse in the morning after I spent an evening not moving in bed while asleep, and it made walking or standing a near impossibility. At an age where I needed to be as active as possible, I could barely leave the house.

My regular doctor suspected encroaching arthritis and prescribed several different medications to help with the symptoms. The problem there is that it didn’t attack the condition and, as I found out later, one of the medication had severe possible side effects including possible heart attacks. I couldn’t risk my health in this manner so I looked for other options. That is how I ended up at a Corte Madera chiropractor and I am so glad I did. It’s literally been the difference between life and death as far as I am concerned.

The first thing the chiropractor did was figure out it wasn’t arthritis. That was a relief, but I still worried about the pain. The chiropractor then suggested I do two things: replace the mattress on my bed and start coming in for massages. That sounded easy. The first massage, I must say, hurt quite a bit. That’s because he was breaking up old tissue so the blood flow could increase to the area. I felt almost immediate relief by the next day. Subsequent treatments have nearly removed the pain entirely. I’m actually out playing tennis with my friends now! I urge everyone to investigate a chiropractor for pain. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
