The Perfect Birthday Gift for Me
When my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I was ready for him. It usually takes me weeks to come up with something when he asks for a gift idea because I really don’t need anything. However, I always treat myself to a cup of espresso at least twice a week, and I wanted to be able to enjoy it a lot more often than that. I just couldn’t justify the cost though. I thought it might be attainable though if I made it myself at home, so I found myself at the Cuppabean website comparing differnet espresso makers.
I figured it would have to be easy since it is just putting water in a machine along with a pod, and waiting for deliciousness to come out into my cup. I was not expecting to find so many different kinds of espresso makers though, so I was happy that it was organized into different sections. I just wanted a small one cup espresso maker. No one else in the family drinks it, and I only have one when I do decide to have some myself. I was also worried that if I got one that would make more at one time, then I may end up drinking more than I should.
I ended up picking out the De’Longhi one. It is the Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine, and it was exactly what I had in mind. It is very quick, as it only takes 30 seconds for it to heat up. Also, if I forget to shut it off, it will automatically shut off after nine minutes of not being used. I don’t think I would ever forget, but that is a nice feature to have. My husband was surprised yet happy when I gave my gift request immediately after he asked!
